BEWARE OF UNAUTHORIZED SOLICITATIONS– Please note that onPeak is the only official housing company associated with Surf Expo. While other hotel resellers may contact you offering housing for your trip, they are not endorsed by or affiliated with the show. Beware that entering into financial agreements with non-endorsed companies can have costly consequences.
The two upcoming Surf Expo tradeshows are September 6-8, 2018 (Board Demo Day September 5) and January 10-12, 2019.

Surf Expo is open for qualified trade only. Exhibiting manufacturers, industry- specific qualified retailers and media are allowed to attend.
Yes, there are a variety of dining options inside the exhibit halls.
Booth catering is available for ordering lunch to be delivered directly to exhibitor booths. Ordering is through Centerplate, the convention centers caterer. To order, contact Lindsey Plunkett (407) 685-5562 or just visit the Centerplate desk located in the Service Center at the show. Orders can be placed with Lindsey in advance, prior to the show. Once on-site, please order at a minimum one hour in advance of time delivery is desired.
The fee for parking at the Orange County Convention Center is $15.00 per car per entry and $25.00 per oversized vehicles, i.e. buses, per entry. Overnight parking is prohibited.
Forty handicap parking spaces are available along the East side of the complex, closest to the entrances.

Absolutely No Strollers are allowed on the show floor.
No one under the age of 16 is allowed at Surf Expo. Minors are only allowed to attend Surf Expo under specific circumstances and must be pre-approved by our Buyer Relations Department.
Shop owner’s children. We realize that many small shops are family run stores. The children will someday own & run the business. You may request a badge for those children who are aged 12 -15 years old.
Nursing Mother. If the owner of the shop is a nursing mother and the child is less than one year old, a request may be made.
Medical reason. In certain situations a badge may be granted.
Requests for minor admittance must be received no later than January 19, 2018. To submit a request for a minor to attend the show, please review the exceptions above, then complete this form.
No. Quality childcare nearby the convention center is available from providers recommended by the Orange County Visitors’ Bureau.
Although you must “register” each buyer attendee for each show, your store data will be saved as long as you have attended since January, 2016. Please take the time to make sure all data is up to date.
Approved Retail Company/ Store owners may bring one guest or team rider for free. Additional guests (maximum of four) will be charged $30 per guest. All buyer guests/ team riders must register onsite along with the main store contact.
Surf Expo is not open to the public. Retail Companies/ Stores need to supply a valid Federal Tax ID, a copy of a valid Retail Business License or Certificate of Resale and two recent invoices for products merchandise similar to that exhibited at Surf Expo, as well as a valid website URL for on-line businesses to be considered. First time attendees (buyers) need to show government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport), a business card for the Attending Company store and a copy of a W-2 for each prospective attendee.
Surf Expo is free for qualified Buyers.

General Move-In Hours
Tuesday, January 23 & Wednesday, January 24
Move in from 8 am – 6 pm. Dock doors and POV doors will be closed at 6 pm. The hall will remain open for set-up for exhibitors already in the hall, until 8 pm.
Personally Owned Vehicle “POV” Move-In
Check In times for personally owned vehicles is as follows:
Tuesday, January 23 8 am – 5 pm
Wednesday, January 24 8 am – 5 pm
Once your booth is assigned, the person designated as your Contract Contact will receive a Booth Confirmation email with links and login information to register your booth personnel for badges.
