policies regarding bringing your children to the show

Minor Policy

– No one under the age of 16 is allowed at Surf Expo. However, the show does recognize certain situations and can make some exceptions to this rule.

Exception #1
Shop owner’s children. We realize that many small shops are family run stores. The children will someday own & run the business. If the shop is a PBC member, that shop may request a badge for their children who are aged 12 -15 years old.

Exception #2
Nursing Mother.
If the owner of the shop is a nursing mother and the child is less than one year old, a request may be made.

Exception #3
Medical reason. In certain situations a badge may be granted.

Buyer Minor exception requests can be submitted anytime, but must be received three weeks before the show date. Requests made after this will not be accepted, nor will any on-site requests be granted. Email your Buyer Minor requests to sfisher@surfexpo.com

No Strollers are allowed on the show floor.

If, for any reason, the child must be removed from the show floor, any associated costs will be the sole responsibility of the parent, guardian, or exhibitor.
