I love books and while preparing for my version of “Road Warrior,” I made a trip to the local bookstore.
I figure it was time to catch up on the usual business fare after finishing my self-study course on the CIA by knocking out George Tenent’s, At the Center of the Storm and Legacy of Ashes back to back.
A walk through the business section left me a little underwhelmed with titles like:
The Effective Executive
Barbarians at the Gate
The Leadership Engine
Meatball Sundae
Now is Gone
Disappointed, I left with a couple of mags Transworld SURF, The Economist, and Wired -- just to keep my balance.
Upon returning home, my son’s reading list reminded me of one of the greatest business minds of our time, Dr Suess. Think about it, he has us all pegged.

The books are thin, fit in your briefcase, make for an easy read, and the person in the plane seat next to you may enjoy the pictures as much as you.
