Loop’d Network Kicks Off Action Sports ‘Sponsorship Season’ By Asking: “Are you Sponsorable?”

Loop’d Network™, the leading social network for action sports and youth culture, today launches a new sponsorship awareness campaign and sponsorship “Hub” at sponsorship.loopd.com to coincide with the official start of the 2008-09 action sports “sponsorship season”. Dubbing the campaign,“ Are you Sponsorable?” Loop’d will reach out to amateur athletes and companies across the US to provide them connection points, tools, and resources to best reach their sponsorship goals.

The evolution of SponsorHouse, Loop’d is THE authority on connecting amateurs with sponsorship opportunities and companies with a highly talented pool of these young athletes. The network has grown quickly with over 350,000 members, over 400 companies, and over 1,000,000 sponsorship connections made to date. Today, the new Sponsorship Hub goes live on the network and is the ultimate gathering place for all things “sponsorship”. The key components include; features and articles, tips and tricks, community forums, and a comprehensive directory of companies and opportunities. An interactive poll, an “are you sponsorable?” viral video, and a “Sponsor Me” grabable widget will also be added soon after launch. Company and media outreach are also important components of the campaign. As companies gear up to launch their own sponsor programs, Loop’d will be reaching out to partner with brands - exposing the wealth of sponsorship resources available on the network to assist in making their sponsorship programs as successful as possible. Loop’d plans to also involve the action sports media in driving awareness by providing media kits, and pitching feature stories both nationally and locally.
