BoatUS Marine Insurance Become Official Sponsor of INT League

After launching its "Watersports Insurance Package" last year, BoatUS Marine Insurance has cemented a partnership with the INT League, also known as the "Little League of Watersports."

After launching its "Watersports Insurance Package" last year, BoatUS Marine Insurance has cemented a partnership with the INT League, also known as the "Little League of Watersports."

BoatUS has been named the official boat insurance sponsor of the INT League, which promotes family-oriented amateur waterskiing, wakeboarding, wake surf, wake skating and kneeboarding events for all ages in 27 states.

"INT's grassroots competitions are designed to be non-intimidating and ability-based, with an emphasis on having fun," said BoatUS Marine Insurance Vice President Mike Pellerin. "That fits well with our reputation of providing services that make boating better. With over 40 years of insuring boats, we've put everything that a watersports enthusiast would need into our package, which can be added to any of our policies for just $30."

Among the BoatUS' Watersports Package enhancements are increased coverage for expensive equipment such as skis or boards ($5,000), medical payment coverage for family members ($25,000) and an increased limit for guests ($5,000), and BoatUS will refund a competition entry fee up to $500 if you are forced to withdraw because your boat and/or trailer has been damaged by a covered loss.

INT members are also able to join BoatUS, the half-million member boat owner's association, for a special BoatUS Cooperating Group rate of just $15 year. The new partnership will also give INT members access to BoatUS on-the-water towing and roadside assistance programs and 24/7 dispatch. "Having an on-the-water towing plan, which start at just $34 a year for freshwater lakes and rivers, or our Trailer Assist roadside assistance, which will tow both a boat trailer and tow vehicle up to 100 miles for an additional $14 a year, will help a bad day suddenly get much better and help ensure you spend more time towing the kids," added Pellerin.

Joining BoatUS also helps increase recreational boaters' voice on Capitol Hill and can increase safety with access to programs such as the BoatUS Foundation's free online boating safety course, which qualifies as boating safety education in 33 states.

"INT is extremely proud of our new relationship with BoatUS and their commitment to INT families across America," says Rick Stocks, Founder of the INT League. "We are pleased to work with an association of such integrity that shares the same vision and focus as the INT League as a major promoter of our mission to develop competitive watersports and boating safety. We are confident that BoatUS will provide a wonderful experience to our INT members," added Stocks.
