RAEN Optics Presents The Imaginary Carpet Market Surf Premiere and Art Show

RAEN Optics presents the Imaginary Carpet Market surf premiere and art show on Friday, November 9 at The Garage, a collaborative space in Encinitas brought to you by RAEN and UNIV. The Garage is located at 1055 South Coast Highway, Encinitas, CA.
The Imaginary Carpet Market is a film by Jack Coleman that was shot entirely in Bali starring Alex Knost. Produced by RAEN Optics, the film is a 25-minute 'spiritual parade' through the eyes of Coleman. Others surfers in the film are Ellis Ericson, Jared Mell, Matty Chojnacki, Harrison Roach and Dane Peterson.
The music by Sam Flax, Exploding Star Orchestra, Antonio Carlos Jobim and Alex Knost really set the mood for the artistic approach that brings Coleman's take on a two-week journey in Bali with some of the best swells of the season to life.
"Jack Coleman's creative approach to film and fine art are inspiring for the viewer," said Justin Heit Creative Director RAEN. "We're excited to produce this project with Alex Knost and Coleman as their synergy is contagious and really takes you on a spiritual journey."
RAEN is dedicated to providing a platform for artists and will host an Art Show on the night of the premiere at The Garage. RAEN Ambassadors Alex Knost and Ellis Ericson will be showing a series of their hand-shaped custom surfboards from shortboards, mid-length and a couple of logs.
Alex's boards are featured under the "Brown Microwave Television" label and Ellis' boards are known as "Sunflower." All surfboards will be for sale on location and also through the RAEN website at www.raenoptics.com November 9 through December 9. The art show will be on display until December 9.
