Technology takes the lead with new wake products

Boards
In the past few years we have seen construction techniques and materials focusing on durability and flex patterns take the lead for most manufacturers. The new boards of today are required to perform behind the boat as well as at your local wake park. Sandwich construction or flex construction has seen the introduction of ABS sidewalls, complete wood cores and other exotic materials. This is producing boards now durable enough to withstand a summer of big wakes, hard landings and hitting features at cable parks all day.

Boots
Wakeboarding boots were long characterized as the part of your equipment that was the least comfortable, least colorful and most difficult to get into and out of. Fortunately those are characteristics of the past and in the last few years we have seen huge advancements in wakeboarding boots. Today Velcro, laces, ratchets and the new System has changed all of this. We would dare to say wakeboarding boots are now downright comfortable, good looking and some are even easy to get in and out of.

Boats
The new boats on the market represent the largest leap forward in design, style, function, power, technology and pure wake size than any other set of boat releases since the true inception of the wakeboarding boat. Every manufacturer has released at least one new prominent model and many are pushing out two this year. So what was the catalyst for a big push for new boats? Potentially everyone had been held down by the economy, regrouping and planning for this moment. R&D departments were lean but had time on their hands to conceive new boats from the water up. The results are market changing. Welcome to the new world of wakeboarding crafts.

CWB Jive
Jive is the latest addition to CWB’s stellar park board line. The Jive is cable focused, designed to be light so whipping up on the corner of the cables is effortless. A super thin design in the tip and tail add flex to the board and reduce swing weight. Small and narrow molded fins provide a little grip and shallow dual channels extend through the tip and tail of the board as well. The Jive also features CWB’s new 8 up insert pack for the new Prizm boot system. The Jive comes in 2 sizes, 137cm & 143cm.

Liquid Force B.O.B.

Liquid Force is proud to introduce the next generation of pro model performance wakeboards with their new B.O.B. and B.O.B. Grind series. Bob’s board features a CNC’d all wood core encased in a thin Liquid Rail perimeter. With Liquid Rail inside the closed rail construction, you get a waterproof core and a precise rail shape for perfect edging behind the boat or anywhere. The wood core reduces the overall thickness profile, which provides you with a thinner biting rail shape, and a dynamic flex and response throughout the whole board. The new B.O.B. shapes come in three sizes, 133, 137, and 141.

Hyperlite WEBB

JD and Scott Bouchard have gotten together to create the third installment in a very successful series. This all-new design gives JD the ability to ride at the cable or behind the boat on the same deck. Crossover Core Technology combines two advanced materials, the Webb provides flex characteristics but maintains its rocker line between the bindings allowing for great pop off the wake. The Webb features a blended 3-Stage rocker line allowing it to carry speed without sacrificing that explosive feel off the wake. Combine all of this with a full 360 degree ABS sidewall and full Sintered Enduro base and you have one of the most durable boards on the market. The Webb comes in 134cm, 140cm & 145cm.

O’Brien Fremont

For those looking for a more wallet friendly, do-it–all boat & cable board, the Fremont is for you. Inspired by Sean O’Brien’s pro model Paradigm flex board – O’Brien captured the essence of all that makes a good flex board - focusing on cost effective measures to make sure the price is right. Featuring the same featureless bottom and durable removable Blunt fins, the Fremont is stable for the intermediate but suitable for the pro level rider as well. Available in 128, 133, 138 and 143 lengths, there’s a board for everyone.

Slingshot 2013 Shredtown Bindings

Built to endure Shredtown’s intense riding style, these unique high-end boots offer premium ergonomics, function and durability. Utilizing our Trifecta Velcro Strap System, the Shredtown boots feature our low-profile bottomless base system for thefinest foot-to-board feel, removable walk-in liners, and the latest in custom fit and shock-absorption technology. Take your winch, boat or cable riding to the next level with these stylie kicks.

Ronix Frank Boots

The same, patented heat formed custom fit found in the rest of Ronix’s high-end line. Thank Frank for pro model performance without the same price tag. Inspired by unripe bananas.

Byerly System Binding

For 2013 Byerly gets the System Binding added to their range. Their new design philosophy allows us to build unmatched strength, support, and response into the binding itself without sacrificing comfort. The new System Binding features full GX3 construction making it light weight and extremely strong. The articulating highback allows for greater support and moves with a rider’s leg to ensure a full range of rear motion. Together with the Byerly System Boot, this transfers a rider’s energy directly to the board creating the most responsive ride in wakeboarding.

Correct Craft Super Air Nautique G23
The Super Air Nautique G23 represents the start of a new era, and will push your limits and expectations as a rider. Inside and out, this boat delivers an experience that surpasses every wake boat in the marketplace. The all-new Nautique Configurable Running Surface (NCRS) fine-tunes the hull surface under any condition using the latest technology in our Nautique LINC system. With over 2,800 lbs. of sub-floor internal ballast, the G23 offers you maximum ballast with maximum storage and a world class wake without the need for additional weight. Every inch of this hull was designed to create a wake that will work for every level of riding, at any speed and line length.

Centurion Boats FX-22
Centurion has launched the all-new FX-22 with the Hammerhead Bow for 2013. The new FX-22 has a sleek, aerodynamic design where form and function come together to create a confluence of artistic efficiency. As the newest addition to the Centurion line, the FX-22 comes in at 22 feet 3 inches and has a beam of 102 inches making it one of the widest 22-foot boats on the market. Also, new for 2013 is Centurion’s Touch Vision electronic dashboard with LED gauges and a cool, sporty look, rich in technology. The FX-22 has the ability to adjust performance characteristics on three-axis -1. Ride attitude, bow up or down. 2. Left or right lean with ballast adjustments or the use of after planes. 3. Rudder loading or crab from counter weight versus opposite after plane application. All of this makes the FX-22 the best water sports boat on the market.

Supra SA350, SA450 & SA550
The new ultimate wake boat from Supra performs above extreme wake sports expectations with amazing wakes, an aggressive look and a shockingly refined interior. When referring to this boat, the SA is followed by the Indmar engine power designator 350, 450 or 550 depending on the power level of the engine you choose. Standard with the 345 Surf engine, the SA is available with the new LS3 or the Supercharged LSA. This new 22 foot 6 inch boat sports Supra's new Barrage Front End tapering back to a subtle mid-ship kink that flares out again towards the Battle Prep Transom; where you can prepare for battle or just get some R&R. The look from overhead is an elegant hourglass shape, while the vantage point from the water is complete intimidation.

Tige Z3
The 2013 Tigé Z3 leads a virtual revolution in wake surfing, the hottest sport on lakes today. The Z3's Patented Convex Hull is the key, featuring the ability to generate an endless, massive swell, on either side of the boat. The Tigé Z3 also allows you to control the length and shape of the wave with one touch, giving everyone in your family - beginner to pro - a safe exhilarating surf session.
