May 24, 2011— Surf Expo’s January and September events were awarded two spots in Trade Show Executive magazine’s Gold 100 list. The distinction honors the biggest and best trade shows in the industry they serve. The list also recognizes ideas that were implemented to maintain a strong marketplace in a challenging economy. “The Gold 100 award is particularly gratifying because it recognizes Surf Expo’s efforts to remain relevant while being flexible in the current economy, said Roy Turner, Surf Expo show director. “This award is also a reflection of our show’s positive impact on our industries, constantly stimulating new business and new ideas. Trade Show Executive magazine is a leading publication for trade show executives, with more than 5,000 BPA-audited subscribers.
