Surf Expo to Present Best New Product Award and Best New Design Award at September 2011 Show

This September Surf Expo will introduce the Best New Product and Best New Design awards for the Resort and Souvenir category. Best New Product will be given to the manufacturer of a new and unique product that demonstrates innovation and clever application. The Best New Design winner will highlight artistic designs, style and cut.

July 20, 2011 — This September Surf Expo will introduce the Best New Product and Best New Design awards for the Resort and Souvenir category. Best New Product will be given to the manufacturer of a new and unique product that demonstrates innovation and clever application. The Best New Design winner will highlight artistic designs, style and cut.

Judges include a top media source and two leading retailers in the Resort and Souvenir Industry: Larry White, Souvenir Gift Novelty; Doug Patterson, Makin Waves; and Jim Norris, Island Companies.

Winners will be featured in post-show releases to top industry publications, product images on surfexpo.com and complimentary ad in the January 2012 digital pre-show magazine. Winning products will also be prominently displayed in the New Product Showcase on the Resort Boardwalk at the September 2011 show.

Entries limited to September 2011 exhibitors and will be judged the opening day of the show. Winners will be notified by the end of opening day and presented with product recognition ribbons for retailers to note as they visit each booth.

Participation is free, and advance registration is required. The deadline to submit the entry form is Friday, September 2, 2011. Product entry form is available at surfexpo.com under the “Marketing Your Brand at Surf Expo” tab.
