Information for Media

Thanks for your interest in Surf Expo, the industry’s number one business-building trade event for the Board, Beach & Fashion industries. Whether it’s the opportunity to look at new lines from the established brands, source new product, or network with the industry’s leaders and pioneers, Surf Expo has got you covered.

Media Registration

As of January 2008, we are requiring all members of the media to re-register individually and separately for each show.

We encourage pre-registration so we may update you with current events, features, and exhibitor information in advance of Surf Expo. Media badges are not mailed in advance. Pre-registered media members need only to provide a business card and photo i.d. to pick-up your show badges in on site during show hours. Media will no longer pick up badges in the Press Room. There will now be a dedicated Media Registration line at both North and South Registrations. The Press Room will be located on the show floor, centrally located in the Surf section in the 1600 aisle. Credentials will be necessary for entrance at all times.

To pre-register, you will be required to fax us a completed pre-registration form and the following credentials for each member of your media outlet by September 5, 2008:

Business card
Publication masthead or organization directory with your name listed or article reprint with your byline
Intended story content and/or previous coverage

Media who miss the pre-registration deadline can also register on site with credentials described above. No more than 4 persons per media outlet will be allowed.
